Pastel colours get cool again. Rather than wearing light pink on your lips (no thanks, Nivea Pearl), brides are dusting their eyes with pink eyeshadow for a subtle but rosy look. Interest has gone up 45%.
Berry Lips
Because next to a white dress, pink and white flowers, white shoes and a white veil, you're in need of a pop of bold, out-there, non-traditional colour. Bring on the mauves, the maroons, the purples and the mulberries. Interest in berry lips has gone up 71%.
Lip Masks
Hmm. Not so sold on this but I guess if you've invested loads in a berry lipstick, it might be worth making sure your lips are in tip-top condition when you wear it. Interest in collagen lip masks (blame Emma Stone's Golden Globes pic) has gone up 388%.
Simple Up-dos
No more bejewelled hair sculptures; brides this year are going for chic, no-nonsense up-dos, with interest rising 83%.
Wedding Tattoos
Wedding tattoos have seen a 116% rise in interest this year. People are getting everything from the date they get married to their actual wedding rings tattooed on their fingers.
Off-The-Shoulder Wedding Dresses
This trend isn't going anywhere any time soon. Interest in off-the-shoulder dresses for weddings has gone up 158%.
Statement Earrings
Simple dress, big-time earrings. Total no-brainer. Interest in statement earrings has gone up 67%.
Printed Bridesmaid Dresses
Down with anything pink, maxi or blancmange-y for your favourite women. Give them a dress they'll want to wear again. Interest in printed bridesmaid dresses has gone up 50%.
Blue Suits for Grooms
No more suits with tails or light grey numbers here. Interest in blue suits for grooms and their ushers has gone up 90%.
Drip Cakes
A welcome alternative to the classic tiered wedding cake with roses made out of icing. Experiment with bright, bold colours and forgo the bride and groom on top for something much more magnificent. Like sweets. Interest in drip cakes has gone up 437%.
Brunch Weddings
To be fair, breakfast for dinner is one of life's great pleasures. Why not bring it to your wedding, too? Interest in brunch weddings has gone up 35%.
Taco Party
It makes sense that 2016's biggest food trend would show up as one of 2017's biggest wedding food asks. Plus, tacos are cheap, which is always a bonus when feeding 100+ people out of your own pocket. Interest is up 132%.
Santorini as a Honeymoon Destination
Despite the good people of Santorini asking tourists to cease and desist from visiting what is arguably the most Instagrammable place in Europe, honeymooners just cannot be stopped. Interest in Santorini for honeymoons is up 70%.
New Zealand as a Honeymoon Destination
With a 24-hour+ flight, it's only right that people save New Zealand for something as special as a honeymoon. Interest in New Zealand for honeymoons is up 125%.
Mini Moons
For plenty of other people, mini moons are a good way to get a honeymoon in without having the stress of planning a big trip as well as a wedding. Think four-day city breaks instead of two-week beach hols. Interest in mini moons is up 122%.
Autumn Weddings
Probably due to the extortionate amount it costs to get married in the summer, interest in autumn weddings has gone up 280%.
Greenery Weddings
Thank you, Pantone, for ensuring that everything in our lives is covered in foliage forevermore. Interest in greenery weddings is up 300%.
